No. Flip Profit HQ is a record-keeping and organizing tool. It helps you keep clean records of sales, fees, costs, expenses and mileage that you can review yourself or hand to a tax professional. It doesn’t tell you what to deduct, what you owe or how to file. Please talk to a qualified tax professional about your situation.
No. We’re an independent company. Platform names are used only to describe which sales records the sheet is designed to work with.
Never. Whatnot’s terms prohibit automated access and scraping, and we respect that. The template works with records you enter, and the founding member import only reads CSV or report files you download from your own seller accounts and choose to upload.
The first planned import is eBay’s downloadable orders/transactions report, targeted for January 2027. Whatnot import will be added only if Whatnot provides sellers a downloadable export we can support; if it doesn’t, we’ll tell founding members and offer a refund. Poshmark, Mercari and Depop come after that, based on what founding members ask for and which exports are available.
No. It’s built for Google Sheets, which is free with a Google account. It may not work correctly in Excel or Numbers.
Yes, for logging sales and trips in the Google Sheets app. Setup is easier on a computer.
In your own copy, in your own Google Drive. We can’t see it. (The planned importer is designed to run inside your copy of the sheet. We’ll publish exactly what it accesses before it ships.)
Fees live on one editable settings tab. We also send updated fee tables to buyers for 12 months.
We can’t promise that, and nobody honestly can. What the sheet does is show your numbers clearly, so the decisions about pricing, sourcing and which shows to run are yours, with better information.
Because it’s an instant digital download, template sales are generally final. If it’s broken or not as described, email us and we’ll fix it or refund you. Founding member pre-orders are fully refundable (see the pre-order terms above).
